Hi-Profit-Pour is calibrated with alcohol it will not measure water accurately.

WASHING
Hi-Profit-Pour is NOT dishwasher safe. Wash before use and regularly to maintain accuracy and performance. Wash in warm NOT hot soapy water. Rinse in warm or cold water. Do not soak the pours. Do not use bleach or abrasive cleaners.

INSERTING
Dampen cork with water prior to inserting in bottle. For best results insert pour into the bottle immediately after washing and rinsing. When inserting the pour into a bottle, twist slightly and push down until snug. Typically only two or three rings of the cork will fit into bottle. Large mouth bottles may require all four rings to be inserted.

PRIMING
There are two ways to prime your pour. The first is to just use the pour - the first pour will be short but subsequent pours will be correct. The second is to hold your thumb over the spout hole and turn the bottle upside down for about 5 seconds, the pour is now primed and ready to use.

POURING
When pouring, turn the bottle in a smooth motion to at least a 45-60 degree angle (approximately 2 o'clock ). If minimum angle is not reached the measurement mechanism may not be triggered and the pour will not shut off. If pouring thick liquid allow extra time to complete the pour. Test pours for accuracy using only liquor. The Hi-Profit Pour is calibrated for alcohol - it is not designed to pour water and will measure water inaccurately.

REMOVAL
To remove the pour from the bottle, twist and pull straight out.
